User:Lany pirna, User:Mirani Pramitasari, and User:Pijri Paijar, all core participants within the Wikimedia Bandung network, directed the third iteration of this cultural heritage archiving initiative. Project documentation indicates that the group broadened its documentation scope to encompass the City and Regency of Bandung, Cimahi, Bandung Barat, Cianjur, Tasikmalaya, Cirebon, Majalengka, Subang, and Banten. Organizers gathered baseline data from official local government websites and reliable online references to map out documentation for 73 cultural heritage sites, ranging from lakes and places of worship to historic kingdoms.
Community Training, Workshops, and Collaborative Article Creation
The initiative operated across four main phases between January and July 2026: documentation, contributing, WikiLatih (training workshops), and Kopdar (community meetups). Visuals gathered during site visits were uploaded to Wikimedia Commons and used to anchor a collaborative writing drive across Sundanese Wikipedia and Indonesian Wikipedia. Project data shows that the effort produced 114 articles, comprising 63 in Sundanese and 51 in Indonesian. Contributions came from multiple community segments: 14 new users joined through WikiTraining to write 15 articles, 15 members of the Wikimedia Indonesia community contributed 33 articles during Kopdar meetups, and project members authored 66 articles.
