TROMSO, Norway – A Christmas day gust of wind left a trail of destruction in Skulsfjord, Tromsø, when it demolished a stable wall at Storjord farm, owned by Morten Karlsen. Fortunately, none of the animals or humans residing on the farm were injured in the incident.
"I must admit, it was quite chaotic," said Karlsen, who was on holiday at the time of the incident. His partners at Klauv & Rake, Jannik Mennen and Amalie Roaldstveit, alerted him of the situation. "It was fortunate to have partners like Janni and Amalie who could step in and help," Karlsen added.
The local emergency services responded swiftly, securing the building within two hours, with the insurance company following shortly after to assess the damage.
Karlsen commended the swift response, "I must praise them for their quick reaction, especially during the Christmas holiday."
