Police have charged the trio under Article 368 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) regarding harassment and extortion, as well as Article 378 of the KUHP for fraud. Additionally, they face charges under Article 335 of the KUHP for forcing someone to do something against their will.
Each suspect could face up to 9 years in prison if found guilty.
Taufik Eko: Wealth and Positions
Taufik Eko, a prominent figure in this case, has a impressive academic background. He holds degrees in medicine, anesthesiology, and a master’s in science from Undip. Apart from his role as the head of the Anesthesiology Program, he also serves as the head of the Intensive Care Program at Undip’s Faculty of Medicine.
Eko’s wealth is estimated at Rp9.7 billion, with assets including multiple properties and a Suzuki Ertiga MPV worth Rp100 million.
