Jack Moran of Horkan’s Hill and formerly The Quay, Westport, passed away peacefully at his home on January 7th, 2026, surrounded by family.

A Life Remembered

Mr. Moran is survived by his wife, Margaret, and sons Michael and Jeff. He also leaves behind daughters-in-law Siobhan and Neil, sisters Angela and Mary, brother Paddy, and a large family including grandchildren Declan, Luke, Ali, Aoife, Jordan, Andrew, Katie, and great-grandchildren Rory and Paige.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda, and grandson, Shane.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing will take place at Navin’s Funeral Home, Westport, on Friday evening, January 9th, beginning at 5pm. A removal to St. Mary’s Church, Westport, is scheduled for 6:30pm.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 10th, at 11am at St. Mary’s Church in Westport, followed by burial in Aughavale Cemetery.
