Khadas has announced significant price hikes and product launch delays for its Mind Pro mini PC lineup, citing ongoing hardware shortages driven by the ongoing AI boom. According to the brand, component scarcity—particularly for high-density memory modules—has forced adjustments to pre-order pricing and delayed the rollout of higher-tier configurations featuring Intel Panther Lake CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti eGPU modular systems.
Khadas Mind Pro Pricing Adjustments and Market Pressures
Khadas stated that ongoing PC hardware availability problems necessitated immediate pricing revisions for the Mind Pro series, though the brand chose to absorb a portion of the rising costs to keep increases as minimal as possible.
The mid-tier configuration, pairing an Intel Core Ultra X7 processor with 64 GB of memory, rose by $300 from its initial pre-order price of $1,999 to a new MSRP of $2,299. Later supply chain pressures pushed the cost of this specific Core Ultra X7 358H model—equipped with 64 GB of memory and 2 TB of SSD storage—even higher, bringing the retail price to $2,599.
Khadas maintained a $500 discount off the updated MSRP for the Core Ultra X7 model through the end of its pre-order period.
Launch Delays Impact High-End Memory Modules
Beyond price increases, Khadas confirmed that the rollout of select high-end and alternative configurations has been delayed. The launch of the Intel Core Ultra X9 variant paired with 96 GB of RAM, alongside a 32 GB configuration of the Core Ultra X7 model, faces postponement due to severe supply constraints.
According to Khadas, the delay stems from a disproportionate increase in procurement costs for the 96 GB DDR5-9600 memory modules required by the top-tier system.
Current Availability and Modular Ecosystem
The system integrates tightly with proprietary add-ons, including an external graphics card solution driven by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti.
At present, the Core Ultra X7 configuration with 64 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage serves as the primary accessible option for consumers.
