KPK Detains Former PT Taspen Director Over Alleged Fictitious Investment Fraud
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained former PT Taspen Director Antonius NS Kosasih (AK) in connection with an alleged fictitious investment scandal at the state-owned company in 2019. kosasih was apprehended following KPK’s summons, as reported by Detikcom.
Kosasih was seen wearing an orange detainee vest around 8:32 PM WIB on Wednesday (January 8, 2025), as he descended from the KPK’s examination room with his hands cuffed. He was later escorted into the KPK’s press conference room.
In a statement (January 8, 2025), KPK Chairperson Tessa Mahardhika confirmed that Kosasih was undergoing a KPK investigation regarding the alleged corruption in PT Taspen’s investment activities during the 2019 fiscal year. "Today, Wednesday, January 8, KPK has scheduled a meeting to discuss this case," Mahardhika said. "AK, the former Director of PT Taspen, is the main subject of this investigation."
