BKN Announces PPPK Tahap I Result for Teachers: Wait Over for Primary Applicants

JAKARTA, Indonesia — The Indonesian National Civil Service Agency (Badan Kepegawaian Negara, BKN) has finally unveiled the results of the Pendaftaran PNS Tahap I (PPPK) Tahap I for teachers, putting an end to the wait for honorarium teachers who are on the priority list.

After meticulously processing the data of applicants in phases, BKN has successfully verified and validated the information, paving the way for the much-awaited announcement. The agency extends its gratitude to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Kemendikbudristek) for its cooperation in expediting the verification process.

"The Ministry has been instrumental in accelerating the verification of data for honorarium teachers who are on the priority list, and for those who are already part of the educational data system," said Mohammad Ridwan, the Acting Director of the Information, Legal, and Cooperation Bureau of BKN.

Processing the data of PPPK guru tahap I applicants was relatively smoother compared to other professions, such as medical and technical personnel. This is primarily because the Ministry helps in verifying Priority 1 (P1) data and because honorarium teachers whose data are already in the Dikdasmen Information System (SI واد) were included as priority candidates.

However, Ridwan noted that verifying P1 data from the PPPK selection process conducted in 2021 was no easy task. He also explained that the Ministry maintains P1 status for teachers from 2022 to 2024, exempting them from re-testing for subsequent cycles.

In contrast, technical and non-medical health personnel must undergo testing for each selection cycle, as they do not enjoy the same continuous P1 status.
