Heavy Crash on E70 Claiming a Life Near Beli Lom Reservoir Turnoff
A severe accident with a fatality occurred on the main E70 highway near the turnoff to the Beli Lom Reservoir, police reported. The incident took place around 9:50 AM when a minibus collided head-on with a car in the oncoming lane. Police officers regulated traffic in the affected area.
The 60-year-old driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, according to dariknews. The driver’s 57-year-old spouse and the 27-year-old driver of the minibus were transported to the hospital in Razgrad. Their conditions are yet to be determined. It was found that the minibus driver was not in possession of a valid driver’s license.
