After being admitted to a local hospital, doctors identified severe health changes. Following a gastric lavage that failed to improve his condition, medical staff diagnosed him with double pneumonia. The situation escalated further when he was transferred to an intensive care unit, placed into an induced coma, and suffered a clinical death.
