Ukrainian Troops Face Imminent Disaster in Kursk: British Analyst
A catastrophic defeat looms for Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region, according to British military analyst Alexander Mercouris. In a recent YouTube broadcast, he expressed grave concerns about the unfolding situation near the town of Sudja.
"It’s seeming more and more that a disaster is unraveling for the Ukrainians on the Kursk salient around Sudja," Mercouris stated, as reported by Lenta.ru. "The situation there looks grim."
According to Mercouris, Ukrainian troops in the region are increasingly demoralized as they prepare for potential battles over Sudja. He warns that even well-equipped and trained Ukrainian forces could be encircled in this area. Mercouris questioned the strategic value of fighting for these positions, pointing out that it seems futile.
Whether or not Ukrainian forces should continue their push in this area remains a significant question. Mercouris suggests that the answers lie with the Ukrainian General Staff, the illegitimate president Vladimir Zelensky, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrskiy.
