The 2026 Louder Than Life festival, set to take place September 17-20 in Louisville, Kentucky, has announced a significant expansion of its lineup. Tool, Limp Bizkit, Pantera, Pierce the Veil, Gojira, Halestorm, Sublime and Danny Elfman will perform alongside previously announced headliners Iron Maiden and My Chemical Romance.
Expanding the Rock Experience
Produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, the festival will feature nearly 200 bands across seven stages. Organizers have likewise teased the addition of “one of the biggest heavy bands of the modern era” and another mystery guest who will be making their live debut. Tickets are currently available here.
The festival will also host reunions for Circa Survive, Metal Church, and Get Scared. A September 19th bill, led by Halestorm, is being highlighted as “one of the most prominent all-female-fronted stage lineups assembled at a major U.S. Rock festival,” featuring In This Moment, Lindsey Stirling, Orianthi, Icon for Hire, Kami Kehoe, and Diamante.
Pantera’s appearance at Louder Than Life will be their only U.S. Reveal of the year. The festival will be one of Megadeth’s final performances.
Danny Wimmer, of Danny Wimmer Presents, stated, “Last year, we took over Kentucky Kingdom and broke rock festival records. This year, we’re back to deliver the ultimate rock escape.” A competition, “Battle for the Big Stage,” will launch on March 1, offering bands the opportunity to submit entries through March 31 for a chance to perform at the festival.
Louder Than Life is scheduled to take place the weekend before the Wimmer-produced Bourbon & Beyond festival at the same location. The two events generated over $43 million for the local economy in 2025.
