Reflecting on her health journey, Davis recounted that her first symptom did not present as a traditional mass. Instead, she discovered a tiny, hard spot that she nearly dismissed. The initial lump that I felt, wasn’t a ‘lump’ as such; rather a kind of hard spot. Really tiny. I almost didn’t bother getting it checked. So I guess I’m saying don’t ignore anything – get everything checked out,
she wrote.

Despite the severe physical toll of the illness—which has involved significant pain, difficulty standing or walking for long periods, and the occasional need for a wheelchair—Davis has emphasized a mindset focused on peace and living fully.
