Man Dies Suddenly During Sexual Encounter at Oslo Brothel

In a shocking revelation during the ongoing "hallik case" at Oslo District Court, it emerged that a man had died suddenly while engaging in sexual activities at a brothel in the St. Hanshaugen neighborhood.

The incident occurred in September 2021 when an ambulance was called to a building on the corner of Ullevålsveien and Wessels gate. The man, in his late 50s, was found deceased in one of the 19 apartments in the building. The cause of death was later determined to be natural, unrelated to any criminal activity.

The brothel in question had been operating in the building since 2020 until it was raided on March 8, 2022, as part of the hallik case. Eight individuals are currently on trial, accused of running a human trafficking network that brought at least 150 women to Norway for prostitution.

One of the main suspects, a 52-year-old Ukrainian woman, revealed in court that a man had died while having sex with one of the prostitutes in their care. She claimed that the man had been engaged in sexual activity for some time before suddenly passing away.

This disturbing revelation comes as the trial continues to uncover the dark realities of the hallik network, which is alleged to have earned a minimum of 52 million Norwegian Kroner from the prostitution of 150 women. The Ukrainian woman is the only defendant currently in custody. The trial began on December 3 and is set to conclude on January 20.

While the death of the man has been ruled as non-criminal, the case remains a grim reminder of the desperate circumstances often faced by individuals involved in the sex industry. As the hallik trial continues, it serves as a stark warning of the human cost of exploitation and trafficking.
