Martin passed away peacefully at his home in Stonepark, Knockbrack, Aclare, Co. Sligo, surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

He was predeceased by his wife Alice, infant son Gerard and brother Fr Vincent. He is survived by a large network of children, grandchildren, siblings and extended relatives, including children named Vincent, Francis, Mary, Liam, Anna Maria, Martina, Fr Gabriel, Patrick and Noreen, and grandchildren such as Ciarán, Cathal, Aoife, Diarmuid, Eoghain, Ciara, Aishling, Roisín, Micheal, Brendan, Brian, Anna, Teresa, Martina, Kyle, Nicole and Mikayla.
Funeral Arrangements
Martin will lie in repose at his home (F91 CY60) on Monday the 15th from 12 noon to 8 pm and on Tuesday from 12 am to 5 pm; the house will be private after 5 pm. The funeral procession will arrive at The Church of The Holy Rosary in Kilmactigue at 8 pm. A Requiem Mass is set for Wednesday the 17th at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilmactigue Cemetery.
The Mass will be livestreamed via https://mcn.live/camera/the-church-of-the-most-holy-rosary. By request, no flowers are to be sent. A one‑way traffic system will be in place, accessing Stonepark via The Middle Claddagh Road.
