McSweeney noted that she reuses many pieces worn during the first season by styling them differently rather than generating an entirely new wardrobe. Her third rule centers on size inclusivity. She stated that she refuses to work with anyone who views her clothing size as an anomaly rather than a normal standard, a boundary she insists will not change.

However, he noted that over 120 prison guards applied online to join the new cast, and producers believe they have found a uniquely engaging new breakout personality among the lineup.
