Op het Heegermeer in Friesland zijn vanmiddag meerdere boten omgeslagen door
de slechte weersomstandigheden. Op het water vielen flinke regenbuien die gepaard gingen met harde wind.
Vanwege het weer en de omgeslagen boten riep de brandweer mensen op om niet meer
het Friese water op te gaan.

Rond 15.30 uur sloeg de eerste zeilboot om. De opvarenden zijn door de
brandweerboten van Koudum en Heeg uit het water gehaald en naar de wal gebracht.

Enkele uren later sloegen nog twee boten om bij Heeg. Geen van de opvarenden
raakten gewond. Ze hadden wel behoefte aan een warme douche,
meldt de Veiligheidsregio Fryslân.
Ook bij de Nieuwe Kruispolle had een bootje hulp nodig, meldt de
veiligheidsregio. Op het Heegermeer en de Fluessen heeft de brandweer extra rondjes gevaren om te controleren of meer
