Meta’s Horizon+ subscription service for Quest headsets continues its expansion by integrating cloud gaming alongside traditional VR releases. According to the update details, the service recently added access to the Xbox Game Pass Starter plan, granting users up to 10 hours of monthly flatscreen cloud streaming across 58 Xbox titles. This rollout pairs with a fresh drop of monthly games and catalog additions designed to bolster the headset’s value proposition.

Monthly Games Spotlight: Wreckin’ Raccoon and Iron Rebellion

Active Horizon+ subscribers can now claim August’s headline monthly games: Wreckin’ Raccoon and Iron Rebellion. Each title offers a distinct virtual reality experience, ranging from physics-based chaos to intense cockpit combat.

Wreckin’ Raccoon, developed by nDreams Compass, is a silly sandbox game where players control a mischievous raccoon causing havoc at a roadside diner. Players can smash plates, raid the kitchen, scamper and scurry, prank the chef, and elude the exterminator while completing missions and avoiding capture. Meanwhile, Iron Rebellion delivers a built-for-VR mech combat sim. According to game design details, it eschews traditional controls in favor of physically operating switches, activating weapons, and manipulating each and every control within your mech’s incredible cockpit, complete with 8v8 cross-platform multiplayer, distinct mech classes, extensive loadout customization, and several game modes.

Beyond the monthly drops, the Horizon+ games catalog provides subscribers with an extensive library of rotating Quest titles.
