Breaking News: Gun Attack on Restaurant in San Francisco del Rincón Leaves Two Dead, Nine Injured
A brazen attack on a restaurant in the Purísima Concepción neighborhood of San Francisco del Rincón, Guanajuato, has left two people dead and nine injured, according to state authorities. The incident occurred at 4:36 PM on New Year’s Day when individuals armed with firearms opened fire on the establishment, which was filled with patrons.
Municipal police and several ambulances rushed to the scene following a 911 report. Upon arrival, paramedics confirmed that two individuals had been fatally shot. The restaurant, named Romero, specializes in seafood. Authorities suspect the attack was targeted at members of a criminal group.
