Title: Christmas Eve Tragedy: Man Stabbed to Death Over Cellphone in Bronx

In a senseless act of violence, a 36-year-old man lost his life on Christmas Eve in the Bronx, New York, over a dispute about a cellphone. The fatal incident was captured on surveillance footage and has left the community shaken.

Around 11:43 AM on December 24, Arkmayer Davis, 30, was involved in an argument with another man inside Kleen Panda Laundry near East Tremont Avenue and Morris Avenue in Mount Hope. The altercation, which began as a heated discussion over a cellphone, quickly escalated.

In the video obtained by the New York Post, the suspect can be heard repeatedly demanding, "Give me my phone, brother! Give me my phone!" Davis, wearing a dark jacket and hoodie, initially refuses to hand over the device, tossing it onto a nearby table before the suspect snatches it away.

The suspect then becomes increasingly aggressive, shouting, "Get away from me! Shut up, brother! I don’t want to be near you anymore!" before storming off.

Tragically, the dispute turned deadly. Police later found Davis outside the laundromat, suffering from multiple stab wounds to his chest, legs, and arms. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) is actively investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to come forward. If you have any details about this case, please contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
