Missing since December 17:avid Search Continues for 17-year-old Boy with Down Syndrome
A agonizing three weeks have passed since 17-year-old Nicholson mysteriously vanished from the courtyard of his home in Konare. Despite waning hopes, search efforts persist, involving local police, military, and a host of volunteers. The boy’s only trace thus far is his dog, which returned home days after he went missing.
"The temperature drop in recent days hasn’t helped," said Konare’s mayor, Stancho Stefanov, expressing his concern for Nicholson’s wellbeing. "But we’re not giving up. We’ll keep retracing our steps, hoping to find some clue that might lead us to him."
Nicholson’s mother, visibly distressed, shared her sentiments with BG on Air. "I feel like my son has been kidnapped. Why would anyone do this to a child? I’ve sought help from psychics, spiritualists. Someone said he’s dead, another said he’s alive. I don’t know what to think anymore. I even received a phone call saying he’d passed away," she lamented.
The community is rallying behind the family, clinging onto hope while facing the daunting reality of the fading trail. As temperatures continue to plummet, time is of the essence in this perplexing case, leaving everyone-yearning for a resolution, however heartbreaking it may be.
