Myra, formerly of Fr Angelus Park in Westport, has passed away peacefully. She was in the care of the staff at Mayo University Hospital in Castlebar at the time of her death, following several months spent at the MacBride Nursing Home.
Community Ties and Legacy
Myra was deeply connected to her local community in Westport. Her associations included the local PTAA, Faith & Light, the Legion of Mary, and Westport Meals on Wheels.

Funeral Arrangements
Repose will seize place at Navin’s Funeral Home, Westport (F28 X688), on Monday, 4th May. The visiting hours are scheduled from 5pm until 6.30pm, after which the cortege will proceed to St. Mary’s Church.
The Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, 5th May at 11am. Burial will follow at Aughavale Cemetery (F28 P202).

Family and Remembrance
Myra was predeceased by her parents, Paddy and Nancy Glavey. She is survived by her siblings—Chris, John, Liz, Michael, Genie, and Cathy—as well as her in-laws, Breda, Peter, Charlie, and Ger, and her nieces and nephews.
The family has requested family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westport Meals on Wheels.
