Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will remain in a hospital for "a few more days" after undergoing a prostate surgery, according to the country’s finance minister. Netanyahu, who is facing corruption charges, has requested an adjournment of his upcoming court hearings to April due to his health situation.

Netanyahu underwent the surgery last week and has been recovering at a hospital in Guilford, Connecticut. His spokesperson, Jonathan Urich, confirmed the former PM’s extended stay whilst also emphasizing that the operation was successful and there’s no cause for alarm.

Meanwhile, the Middle East continues to see shifting geopolitical dynamics.
