When Can Businesses Use Old Fiscal Receipt Formats in Ukraine?
The Ministry of Finance (Mof) has clarified that businesses in Ukraine can continue using the old fiscal receipt formats until March 1, 2025. However, there’s a catch — they have the option to adopt the new formats sooner if they choose to.
"Until March 1, it is permitted to generate documents in the old format using registers of cash and cashless operations that are included in the State Register," the ministry explained. However, they also noted that while businesses can opt to use new fiscal receipt formats before the deadline, it’s not a requirement.
The Mof extended the transition period for implementing new requirements for receipt forms and contents, as outlined in Order #601. The new Order #674, signed on December 30, 2024, and registered by the Ministry of Justice on December 31, 2024, under #2061/43406, has been prepared for official publication.
