SOUTHERN PINES, N.C.—The Ohio men’s golf team concluded competition at the Babygrande Donald Ross Collegiate on Wednesday, March 11, finishing 13th of 20 teams with a total score of 884 (+20). The tournament, hosted by George Mason University, took place at Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club.

Richmond won the tournament with a score of 858 (-6), followed closely by George Mason, the host university, with a score of 861 (-2).
Senior Nathaniel Gray Lamont of Guelph, Ontario, led the Bobcats, achieving a tie for 22nd place in the nearly 100-player field. Lamont finished at two over par with a total score of 218, achieved through rounds of 72, 74, and 72. He improved his position by 14 spots on the individual leaderboard with an even par 72 in Wednesday’s final round.
Freshman Rylan Hall of Stratford, Ontario, recorded his best career finish, tying for 32nd place with a four over par 220. Hall’s second round featured three consecutive birdies on holes five through seven.
Seniors Will Kates of Centennial, Colorado, and Carson Trafford of Dublin, Ohio, both finished with a total score of 224 (+8), tying for 56th place. Senior Jack O’Donnell of Powell, Ohio, finished with a total score of 240.
Freshman Jack Flores of Worthington, Ohio, also competed at the Hampden-Sydney Invitational at Foxfire Golf Club, tying for 41st in a 120-player field with a score of 154 (+10).
The Bobcats are scheduled to return to action at the Sweetens Cove Intercollegiate, hosted by Miami University, from March 23-25 in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.
