This case is different: unlike Daniel, the SU7 we saw has permanent French plates. We’ve already seen Chinese electric cars with local plates, like an Avatr 12 or an Omoda C7, but they were systematically “W” plates, symbols of temporary registrations for testing and trials.

Not this time: the registration is permanent. Contacted on this subject, Xiaomi France confirms that the car does not belong to them… but a search on the internet reveals more: it would be an individual who imported and approved it at his own expense, using it as a VTC (private hire vehicle).
