Stepco Insurance Agency, originally founded in 1962 as George Joseph & Associates, dba Mercury Insurance Agency, holds the distinction of being the first Mercury Insurance Agency in California. In 1983, Steve Stepanian assumed leadership of the agency from his brother-in-law. Later, Steve Stepanian passed the agency to his son, Steven, who then expanded Stepco’s services into Arizona and Nevada.
