Reported Disappearances and Allegations
Paank identified the missing individuals as Kifayatullah Baloch, Younas Baloch, and Abdul Majid. According to the organization, 20-year-old shopkeeper Kifayatullah Baloch was allegedly taken on June 10, 2026, from Mangochar, Kalat, by personnel of the Frontier Corps. Two other cases were reported in late July. Younas Baloch, a 24-year-old farmer, was allegedly detained on July 29, 2026, in Tando Allah Yar, Sindh, by Counter Terrorism Department personnel. On the same night, 35-year-old plumber Abdul Majid was reportedly taken by Pakistan Rangers while returning from work in Karachi.

The pattern of missing persons remains a significant human rights issue in Pakistan, where civil society groups frequently advocate for due process and transparency. In a post on the social media platform X, Paank stated, “Paank strongly condemns the enforced disappearances of Kifayatullah Baloch, Younas Baloch, and Abdul Majid, and expresses deep concern over the continuing pattern of enforced disappearances affecting Baloch civilians.” The organization asserts that these practices violate international human rights law and cause ongoing distress to the families of the missing.

Paank has urged the government to disclose the fate of the three men, ensure their safety, and grant them access to legal counsel.
