Paula McDermott of Sappagh, Muff and formerly of Burt passed away peacefully on September 22nd at Foyle Hospice, according to family notices. Surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing, she was the beloved partner of Kevin and much-loved mother to Annie and Donna.
Funeral Arrangements and Reposing Details
According to funeral announcements, Paula’s remains travelled through Burt at approximately 6:30 pm on Sunday evening to arrive at her late home. Reposing at her home in Sappagh, Muff (F93 PWY0) takes place on Wednesday and Thursday from 12 noon to 10 pm. Family members have requested strict privacy outside of these reposing hours.
The funeral will leave the late home on Friday at 10 am for a Requiem Mass at St Aengus Church, Burt, beginning at 11 am. A private cremation will follow the service.
Family and Survivors
Paula McDermott was the daughter of the late Phonsie and Annie McDermott. She is survived by her partner Kevin, daughters Annie and Donna, and her siblings Marian, Stephen, Kathleen, Christy, Barry, PJ, and Terry. She was predeceased by her sister Donna and brothers Frankie and Paul.
