Ukrainian Pensioners to Receive Age-Related Supplement in January
In January, a portion of Ukrainian pensioners will receive a special age-related supplement. According to 24 Kanal, referencing the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU), pensioners aged 70 and above with a monthly pension below 10,340.35 UAH will be eligible for this additional payment. The supplement varies based on age:
- Pensioners between 70 and 74 years old: 300 UAH
- Pensioners between 75 and 79 years old: 456 UAH
- Pensioners aged 80 and above: 570 UAH
Eligibility Requirements:
- Pensioners must be 70 years or older.
- They must receive a pension based on age.
- Their total monthly pension payment must be less than 10,340.35 UAH.
The supplement is not paid from the start of the calendar month but rather from the day after the pensioner’s birthday. Therefore, for the first month, the payment will only be a proportionate amount based on the number of days.
Important Note: This supplement is automatically added to the recipient’s existing pension amount. There’s no need for separate application.
