Walmart Adds Surprise Bonus to Grand Theft Auto 6 Physical Pre-Orders
Physical pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6 at Walmart will include a complimentary “surprise and delight bag” shipped alongside the game’s box, according to deal-tracking account Nintendeal, which spotted the listing details on the retailer’s website. Mashable reported that buyers purchasing the $79.99 PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S versions will receive the mystery merchandise while supplies last. The physical copies feature a case containing a digital download voucher rather than an optical disc, requiring players to clear 210GB of storage for the massive file download.
Delivery Timelines and Pre-Load Schedules for November 2026
Walmart product listings state that delivery for the physical pre-order packages will begin on November 12, 2026, coinciding with the date that pre-loading opens for players, as reported by Beebom. Indy100 noted that the game officially launches on November 19, 2026, giving buyers who secure the Standard or Ultimate editions access to load the software a week early. Meanwhile, Beebom pointed out that other retailers have dropped similar hints, noting a GameStop listing in October 2026 that pointed toward a physical map inclusion.

Speculation Surrounding the Mystery Merchandise Bag
Because Walmart has not detailed the exact contents of the “surprise and delight bag,” fans online have speculated on what items might arrive in the General Merchandise Delivery package. Kotaku reported that the retailer has a history of bundling promotional snack kits—such as Pringles and Coca-Cola distributed during Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders—leading some buyers to expect similar novelty items or branded trinkets. Other shoppers have theorized that the package might include a physical map or poster, though Rockstar Games itself is separately offering a $400 Collector’s Box featuring an alligator mascot, custom Oakley sunglasses, a New Era cap, and a physical Leonida map that excludes the game disc entirely.
