Marketing images and a comprehensive spec sheet for the Pixel Watch 5 have appeared online, offering a detailed look at Google’s upcoming smartwatch prior to its official debut. According to 9to5google, the leaked material outlines both previously discussed specifications and entirely new features, arriving alongside a major report from Android Police detailing hardware sizes and battery metrics.
Leaked Pixel Watch 5 Marketing Images and Specifications Surface Ahead of Launch
Google is scheduled to officially launch the Pixel Watch 5 on August 12 during the Made by Google event. The leaked promotional materials indicate that the wearable will be offered in two distinct sizes: a 41mm version and a 45mm variant.
Design, Finishes, and Color Options
The leaked marketing materials and high-resolution renders—published in collaboration with OnLeaks—confirm that Google is maintaining its familiar rounded, pebble-style design. According to techrepublic.com, the smartwatch will feature a domed display, a side crown, a proprietary band attachment system, and side-mounted charging contacts.

The renders highlight four distinct color combinations for the device:
- Dark Anthracite with a black band
- Natural Silver with a pale gray band
- Pyrite with an olive band
- Warm Gold with a coral band
The Warm Gold finish will reportedly be exclusive to the smaller 41mm model in the leaked materials, while the larger 45mm version is shown in the other three finishes. Additionally, the leaked images showcase second-generation sport bracelets made from hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene rubber (HNBR), a different rubber compound than the previously used fluoroelastomer designed for added comfort. Pricing is expected to start at $399 for the 41mm edition, while the 45mm edition will start at $429.
Storage, Processor, and Battery Specifications
Under the hood, the leaked spec sheet indicates that both sizes of the Pixel Watch 5 will come equipped with 64GB of storage capacity—double that of the previous generation—and will operate on WearOS 7. The storage capacity is expected to support expanded Gemini functionality. The specifications note the inclusion of a Cortex-M55 processor, though questions remain as to whether the device will use the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 “accelerated” chip or share an SoC with the Pixel Watch 4.

Battery capacities have increased incrementally to accommodate the hardware:
- 41mm version: 332mAh battery delivering 30 hours of battery life (or 48 hours using battery saver mode)
- 45mm version: 465mAh battery delivering 40 hours of battery life (or 72 hours using battery saver mode)
- Durability: Both models carry an IP68 rating for dust- and water-resistance
Despite the larger batteries, estimated battery life remains unchanged across versions, which may indicate higher power draw from the processor.
Gemini Integration and Health Tracking Capabilities
The leaked marketing material places heavy emphasis on artificial intelligence capabilities powered by Gemini, which the materials describe as an assistant that anticipates your needs and delivers helpful information at just the right moment.
Supported features include proactive suggestions and context-aware replies based on conversations, demonstrated visually through Google Wallet boarding pass suggestions and surfaced contact information in text message replies.
On the health and wellness front, the Pixel Watch 5 introduces loss of pulse detection with automatic SOS capabilities, which will automatically call for help in specific emergency scenarios. The feature carries the caveat that it is not intended for individuals with pre-existing heart conditions or those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Furthermore, Google highlights its most accurate sleep tracking yet,
which calculates a sleep score factoring in time spent in each sleep stage alongside breathing rate, all feeding into a morning insights feature.
