Preorders for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Mega Evolution Delta Reign expansion are live at Amazon and Target ahead of its November 6, 2026 release date, drawing intense collector demand alongside online queues reaching up to 12 hours on the official Pokémon Center website.
Third-Party Retailers Price Delta Reign Below Estimated Market Values
Shoppers looking at retail sites ahead of the winter release are finding early pricing that occasionally dips below estimated market values.
The Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box is listed at $140 on Amazon through third-party seller MVP Marketplace, sitting close to its $131.28 TCGplayer market price. Target and Amazon listings are operated by familiar third-party sellers rather than direct platform stock, though all purchases remain protected by a 30-day refund and replacement window. Kings Games also offers the Delta Reign Booster Display Box for $269.95, which serves as the best price among three sellers for collectors aiming for the lowest cost per pack.
For those pursuing the absolute lowest entry point on TCGplayer, the Elite Trainer Box drops as low as $130.94, resting just under its estimated $131.17 market price. Booster Bundles include six booster packs, with each individual pack containing 10 trading cards, one Basic Energy card, and a Pokémon TCG Live code card. Elite Trainer Boxes provide nine booster packs, 65 card sleeves, 40 Energy cards, seven dice, a plastic coin, six dividers, a player’s guide, and a TCG Live code card.
Collectors Face Technical Errors During Official Pokémon Center Preorders
The rush to secure cards from the final announced 2026 expansion has not been without friction. Initial preorders launched on the Pokémon Center website at the end of September brought technical errors and digital queues stretching up to 12 hours long. As the last announced expansion for the year, it continues the dedicated focus on the Mega Evolution mechanic, headlined by the return of Mega Rayquaza following an absence since the 2015 Ancient Origins set.
Oh well that Pokemon Center drop was a shit show, tons of errors and selling out that quick with reduced limits? Normally even when ETBs sell out Booster Boxes and Bundles last for a couple more hours but not this time.

Standard retail products carry a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $59 in the US and £56.99 in the UK for the Elite Trainer Box through the official Pokémon Center. While initial waves on the official site sold out quickly, future restocks remain possible for dedicated fans.
Mega Rayquaza and Legendary Pyroduct Join the Expanded Card Pool
The Delta Reign expansion combines cards from Japan’s Storm Emeralda set with 30 unique cards from accompanying MEGA Starter Decks, alongside Japanese promotional cards and over 135 cards in total. Mega Rayquaza ex anchors the collection as its headline chase card, marking the character’s return to the ex series since the XY era alongside other major additions including Mega Golisopod ex, Mega Golurk ex, and Mega Malamar ex.
Among the newly detailed English card reveals is Legendary Pyroduct, translated from the Japanese name Legendary Lava Lake.
The card introduces a Stadium mechanic featuring a continuous illustration across two cards that depicts a volcanic scene containing Growlithe, Magmar, Steelix, and Heatmor. When active in the game, this Stadium card removes all Abilities from both players’ Evolution Pokémon, effectively blocking popular effects such as Drakloak’s Recon Directive, Alakazam’s Psychic Draw, and Dudunsparce’s Run Away Draw.
Additional card reveals include Hypno, illustrated by debut artist Yuta Kawazu with an unnerving visual style and the Mind Ruler attack that deals 20 damage for each card in the opponent’s hand. Kecleon features a Colorful Whip attack that scales based on revealed Pokémon types from the player’s hand. Thundurus, Tornadus, Landorus, and Enamorus share a collaborative ability that removes the Colorless energy requirements from their attacks when all four are in play together. Aarune appears as a Special Illustration Rare depicting the Secret Base Expert from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, accompanied by an illustration by Shimaris Yukichi that allows players to search their deck for up to three Supporter and Stadium cards.
Local Game Stores Host Prerelease Tournaments Starting in Late October
