Ermelo Police Arrest Man During Service in Local Church
Police in Ermelo made an unlikely interruption this weekend when they entered a packed church during Sunday service to arrest a man. The incident occurred at the Horsterweg church, leaving worshippers stunned and sparking conversations around the town.

Local resident and churchgoer, Henk de Vries, recounted the moment, "We were all singing hymns when suddenly, several police officers walked in. They asked everyone to stay calm and then approached a man in the front row. It was a bit of a shock, but we’re just glad it was handled peacefully."
