The Portland Rose Festival is in the process of announcing the members of its 2026 Rose Festival Court. The first Rose Princess, Olivia Baker of St. Mary’s Academy, was announced on March 3 and additional princesses will be revealed each weekday through March 19.
A Tradition of Scholarship and Service
The Rose Festival Court is comprised of up to 15 students from high schools throughout the Portland metro area. The program is designed to provide scholarship opportunities, encourage community involvement and volunteer work, and offer valuable networking and mentorship experiences. It also aims to cultivate an appreciation for the history and traditions of the Rose Festival.
Selected court members will participate in training sessions covering media relations, networking, and public speaking. Throughout their term, they will represent the Rose Festival at events across the region, including visits to local businesses, hospitals, senior living centers, and youth organizations. They will also participate in the Rose Festival parade and other signature events.
In addition to the scholarship, court members will receive a travel wardrobe, including shoes and accessories, and become part of an alumni network of past Rose Festival Court participants.
