Hundreds Without Power in Noardeast-Fryslân

A power outage affected several villages in the Dutch municipality of Noardeast-Fryslân on Thursday morning, leaving hundreds of residents without electricity.

According to Liander, the network operator, the blackout started around 7:30 AM and lasted until approximately 9:30 AM. Around 900 connections were impacted, affecting residents in Eanjum, Easternijtsjerk, Eastrum, Jouswier, Ljussens, Mitselwier, Moarre, Moddergat, Nes, and Peazens.

Postcodes affected include 9123, 9124, 9125, 9131, 9133, 9134, 9135, 9136, 9137, 9142, and 9143. Liander promptly addressed the issue and restored power to all affected areas.

Local authorities and emergency services were notified and responded to ensure the safety of residents during the outage.
