Title: Argentina‘s Meat Exports: One Country Dominates 80% of November Sales
The Argentine beef industry is thriving in 2024, with export figures for the first eleven months showing a impressive 14.1% increase in volume and an 8.1% rise in value compared to the same period in 2023. According to Mario Ravettino, president of Consorcio ABC, a total of approximately 709,100 metric tons of chilled and frozen beef were exported, generating around $2.758.1 million in revenue.
However, November’s export figures saw a slight dip from the previous month. Total exports reached nearly 66,000 metric tons of chilled and frozen beef, valued at approximately $260.5 million. While this represents a moderate 5.3% decrease in volume compared to October 2024, the value obtained fell by 6.8%.
In a significant development, one country accounted for a staggering 80% of Argentina’s beef exports in November. This demand, although fluctuating from month to month, reflects Argentina’s continued status as a major player in the global beef market.
This trend has been underpinned by Argentina’s robust production capabilities and strategic trade partnerships. The outlook for 2025 appears promising, with Industry insiders anticipating sustained demand driven by consistent supply and favorable market conditions.
