The former Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2018 had the support, admiration and affection of the public to become the fifth figure of Puerto Rico to rise with the scepter. Ortega beat Mexican actress Angélica Sofía Castro Rivera in the final, who finished in second place, and Spanish singer and actor Luis Adrián Álvaro Lastra, who won third place.
The natural beauty of Rincon, who carried a $ 25,000 check for the Trotamundos Foundation, became the fifth Puerto Rican to win the competition and joined Jackie Guerrido (First season), Adamari López (second season), the former Menudo Johnny Lozada (fourth season) and the former Miss Universe 1993, Dayanara Torres (fifth season).
