Heads Turned in Cipayung as Wife Drug-husband, Now Regrets Actions
In an unexpected turn of events, Melody Sharon, the relentless wife who previously dragged her husband, AG, in Cipayung, Jakarta Timur, has now expressed regrets over her actions. Melody’s unexpected shift in sentiment came to light after being named a suspect in the case.
Iptu Sri Yatmini, the head of the Criminal Investigation Unit at Metro Jakarta Timur Police, shared, "During the initial hearing, she didn’t express any regrets. However, when asked during the press release, she admitted she was sorry. Yesterday, she even cried whilst expressing her regret."
Sri disclosed that initially, Melody was quite defiant, believing she had done nothing wrong. She felt no remorse for her actions.
Melody has since been officially named a suspect and is currently detained at Metro Jakarta Timur Police Station. She is being charged under Article 44 (2) of Law No. 23/2004 regarding Domestic Violence.
Meanwhile, both Melody and AG’s alleged mistress have been reported to the Metro Jaya Police, with the reports focusing on alleged adultery. Melody and AG are being investigated for this separate charge.
To assess Melody’s mental state following the incident, police have planned to conduct a psychological examination. Dr. Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, the chief of Metro Jaya Regional Police, informed, "We will conduct a psychological examination for the suspect (Melody) at the police hospital." The exact date of the examination is still being coordinated with the relevant mental health professionals.
Moreover, Melody has undergone a urine test for narcotics, with the results returning negative.
