Breaking News: Woman Rescued Alive from Rubble after Russian Strike on Kryvyi Rih
In a daring rescue operation late on December 24, emergency services in Kryvyi Rih successfully pulled a woman from the debris of a building devastated by a Russian rocket strike. The woman, who spent over four hours under the rubble, was conscious when rescued and is currently being transported to a hospital, suffering from symptoms of prolonged crush syndrome.
Source: The news was confirmed by Alexander Vilkul, chairman of the Defense Council of Kryvyi Rih, and the regional military administration (Oblast Defense Administration).
"She was extracted from the rubble alive and conscious," Vilkul stated. "The only viable option was to clear the debris with our bare hands."
Details: As of now, 15 people have been reported injured in Kryvyi Rih due to the Russian attack. Ten of these casualties were hospitalized, with four in critical condition. Among them are women aged 72, 65, and 42, and a 78-year-old man.
Reminder: Earlier in the day, on December 24, Russian occupiers targeted Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in at least one fatality.
