Power Outage Leaves 2,985 Customers Waiting, Despite Main Grid Recovery
Morton Schau, communications chief at Eliva, has confirmed that a power outage affecting 10,907 customers was resolved. However, 2,985 customers in the Rånosfoss area remain without power.
The power cut occurred at 09:51 this morning. "We immediately started rerouting the grid," Schau told VG. While most customers were quickly reconnected, some in the Rånosfoss region are still waiting for their power to be restored.
Schau explained, "We’re sending personnel to the Rånosfoss power station to investigate the cause of the issue. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an exact timeline for restoring power to the remaining customers."
Eliva urges patience as they work to resolve the issue and restore power to all customers.
