Ukraine‘s Air Defense Downs 21 Russian Drones in Overnight Attacks

Ukraine’s Air Force has announced that its air defense systems have shot down 21 drones used by Russia to attack Ukrainian territory overnight, Reuters reported, citing the Ukrainian military. The attacks targeted six regions, with 22 drones initially detected by radar.

Debris from the downed drones caused damage to residential buildings in Kharkiv and Odesa regions, Reuters added, citing local military administrations. Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army reported 186 skirmishes along the front line over the past day, with the most intense fighting in Russia’s Kursk region and along the Pokrovsk direction in Ukraine, according to Ukrinform.

Russian forces reportedly targeted Ukrainian military positions and settlements with over 5000 shellings, including 188 rockets.
