Breaking: Russian Army Breaches Ukrainian Defense Lines in Liman Region
Russian forces have successfully breached Ukrainian defensive lines in the Liman region, according to a Ukrainian serviceman, Stanislav Buynatov. "They’ve managed to break through our defenses on the Liman front, advancing towards the village of Kolodizky from Ivanovka. The situation is challenging," Buynatov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Earlier today, the Ukrainian military account Deep State reported that Russian forces had seized three populated areas over the past 24 hours. These include the village of Shirokino west of Kurakhove, near one of Europe’s largest lithium deposits; Ivanovka in the Liman region, near the village of Turny; and Lozovaya, a village in the Kharkiv region on the left bank of the Oskol River.
Previously, EADaily reported that the village of Shirokino, now under Russian control, hosts one of Europe’s largest lithium deposits. Military correspondent Boris Rozhin shared this information in his Telegram channel, citing Ukrainian documents.
