In a devastating turn of events, a Russian artillery strike on Belozertske in the Kherson region on Saturday has left eight people injured, including two children. The grim update was revealed by the chairman of the Kherson Oblast State Administration, Alexander Prokudin, via his Telegram channel.

Around 2 p.m., Prokudin initially reported the injury of two children—a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl—who sustained severe injuries, including concussions, shrapnel wounds, and lacerations to the face and head. The boy also suffered a fragmentary wound to the forehead. They were promptly hospitalized following the attack.
