Roman Sandoval, founder of Allosense, is also a member and has advocated for policies that support minor tech companies and local manufacturing resources.
Mayor Jones stated, “These are foundational technologies and growing sectors that will be needed to power the global economy, and San Antonio will lead the way.” She also plans to utilize the group to develop strategies for retaining tech companies and jobs within San Antonio.
Accompanying Jones on the trade mission to Taiwan will be members of the ESAG and Greater:SATX. The mayor expressed her hope that the group will develop a strong case for San Antonio as a prime location for Taiwanese investment.
