Indonesian Medical Team Arrives in UAE‘s Floating Hospital for Gaza Relief
The second batch of Indonesian medical professionals has joined the UAE’s floating hospital, strengthening ties and reinforcing commitment to Palestine. The team will collaborate with Emirati medics under the ‘ courageous knight 3’ operation, providing top-tier global medical aid to Gaza’s injured and affected.
Dr. Ali Zanhani, deputy medical director of the UAE’s floating hospital, welcomed the Indonesian team. He highlighted the unity of Emirati and Indonesian medics in delivering comprehensive medical care to Gaza’s victims, reflecting the deep bonds between the countries and their shared humanitarian efforts.
The UAE’s floating hospital began operations on February 23, 2024, offering 100 beds and an additional 100 beds for patient companions. Emirati medics lead the team, with assistance from Indonesian counterparts.
