While filming on the 24th floor of a hotel overlooking the Nile, a significant earthquake struck early in the morning at approximately 6:00 a.m. Chico reported experiencing a panic attack as the building shook, noting the visual intensity of the moment as a large chandelier in the suite swayed violently.
Stunt Work and Production Standards
When discussing the action sequences within “Saqr and Canary,” Chico clarified his approach to physical performance. He stated that he does not perform his own stunts and has no intention of training for them. Instead, he has relied on a dedicated stunt double, Mahmoud, for the past 12 years. Chico noted that Mahmoud is perhaps the only stunt performer in Egypt who shares his physical appearance.
