Breaking: Armed Civilians Ambush Military Convoy in Navolato, Sinaloa
Culiacán, Sin. – In a brazen attack, armed civilians opened fire on a military convoy in the municipality of Navolato, Sinaloa, according to recently released information. The military, acting promptly, managed to apprehend two suspects, one of whom was injured and needed hospitalization under supervision.
The skirmish took place in San Miguel, where the military encountered several armed individuals who, upon noticing their presence, initiated a firefight. The military pursued the assailants, returning fire in an intense exchange. Authorities seized four automatic weapons, magazines, and two vehicles, including a Jeep Rubicón, from the apprehended suspects.
In a separate operation involving federal and state forces in the community of El Mezquitillo, in the Imala syndicature, three individuals were detained while attempting to evade a check. They were found in possession of four firearms, including an automatic weapon, magazines, cartridges, and a vehicle.
Authorities are investigating the incidents to determine the suspects’ involvement in any criminal activities. The violence in Sinaloa continues unabated, with reports of assassinations, blockades, and shootouts throughout the region.
