The Mustangs began the competition with a 3-2 win in Fences. Senior Hannah Hoch secured a point for SMU with a score of 71.50. Aedan Mooney also contributed to the Fences victory with a mark of 78, while Caroline Signorino clinched the win with a score of 84.
Points Shared in Flat and Horsemanship
In Flat, SMU prevented Texas A&M from securing all available points. Captain Augusta Iwasaki tied with Texas A&M’s Kate Egan, both posting scores of 71.50. Genevieve Johns also achieved a tie, scoring 72 against Londyn Samlaska.
