Biaya haji 2025 belum ditetapkan secara resmi, tetapi Menteri Agama Nasaruddin Umar sempat mengusulkan angka untuk biaya haji pada tahun tersebut.

Dalam rapat kerja bersama Komisi VIII DPR RI, Menag mengusulkan biaya BPIH sebesar Rp 93,3 juta. Sementara itu, Bipih, atau biaya yang harus dibayarkan langsung oleh jemaah, mencapai Rp 65,3 juta, yang mengalami kenaikan hampir Rp 10 juta dibandingkan tahun 2024.

"Pemerintah telah menyusun formulasi pembebanan BPIH tahun 1446H/2025M yang telah melalui proses kajian. Usulan rata-rata BPIH Rp 93.389.684,99; Bipih (70%) Rp 65.372.779,49; Nilai manfaat (30%) Rp 28.016.905,5," kata Menag dalam rapat di Senayan, Jakarta pada Senin (30/12/2024) lalu.

Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Wakil Menteri Agama, Romo Muhammad Syafi’i, mengatakan bahwa biaya haji 2025 masih memiliki potensi untuk menurun. Seorang menyarankan langkah-langkah, seperti menurunkan keuntungan avtur untuk menghemat ongkos haji, telah diusulkan untuk mengurangi biaya operasional.

In a working meeting with the DPR at the Parliamentary Complex, Jakarta, on Monday (30/12), Nasaruddin confirmed that the Indonesian pilgrim quota for 2025 remains unchanged from last year, totaling 221,000 individuals, as provided by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also stated that the current petugas quota stands at 2,210 individuals.

Nasaruddin emphasized that the number of Indonesian petugas for the haji 2025 pilgrimage has decreased compared to haji 2024. Consequently, he pledged to strive for additional petugas quota from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stating, "We will continue to endeavor to secure additional petugas quota, as we did in previous years, to better serve the 221,000 pilgrims."

In 2024, Indonesia received a jemaah quota of 241,000 pilgrims and a petugas quota of 4,421 individuals, following additional quota allocations from the Saudi government. The Minister’s announcement comes as preparations for the upcoming haji season commence, with Indonesia aiming to provide a smooth and secure pilgrimage experience for its citizens.

Minister Proposes Average BPIH for Hajj 2025 at Rp93.4 Million

The Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs, Nasaruddin Umar, has suggested setting the average Biaya Penyelenggara Ibadah Haji (BPIH) for Hajj 2025 at Rp93.389.684,99, or approximately Rp93.4 million. This proposal is based on the fluctuation of the US dollar and Saudi Riyal exchange rates against the Indonesian Rupiah.

The ministry has considered the current exchange rates of the US dollar at Rp16,000 and the Saudi Riyal at Rp4,266,67. In a working meeting with the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) held in Jakarta yesterday, the minister announced, "For the 1446 Hijri year and 2025 AD, the government proposes an average BPIH of Rp93.389.684,99 per pilgrim."

In the proposed BPIH for 2025, 70% of the total cost, or Rp65.372.779,49, will be borne by the pilgrims. The remaining 30%, valued at Rp28.016.905,5, will be counted as the pilgrimage’s net value.

Prior to this announcement, Minister Nasaruddin had disclosed that Indonesia’s Hajj quota for 2025 would remain unchanged from the previous year, at 221,000 pilgrims, before any additional quotas are allocated. Additionally, the number of Hajj officials in 2025 is proposed to be 2210.

In 2024, the Indonesian government and the House of Representatives’ Commission VIII agreed to set the Biaya Penyelenggaraan Ibadah Haji (BPIH) at Rp93.4 million, with pilgrims paying only the Biaya Perjalanan Ibadah Haji (Bipih) of Rp56 million each.
