Vote counting has commenced for 21 Assembly constituencies across the districts of Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupattur, and Tiruvannamalai. The process began at 8 a.m. Across five designated centers in these regions.
Counting Process and Security Measures
The procedure began with the opening of strong rooms, conducted in the presence of candidates or their authorized representatives. According to the established protocol, postal ballots are being counted first.
Counting for votes recorded in electronic voting machines (EVMs) will only begin once the postal ballot rounds are complete. To manage the volume, 16 tables have been arranged in each constituency for every round of counting.
These security forces are stationed in and around the counting centers to ensure the integrity of the process.
